I feel closer to the earth with my hands in the dirt

I feel closer to you with my hand in yours

It's just that I experience these things greatly

but I am sorry that I've been writing about you lately 

always listening, I heard you say that everybody has their shit

I knew how you probably meant it but I take these things as a compliment

learning to trust again, feeling comfortable in my skin

it is worth it I am finding 

though so fucking terrifying


(I still throb every second with embarrassment

it just hurts less)
