but a level of dedication, sensitivity
and dependency
on me
all in comparison
to me of course
I heard he was having a hard time
saw him drinking alone at the bar
this is the person I am attracted to
what's so intriguing?
the unhappiness? the sadness?
the depth and complexity pulls me in
the pain and struggle
makes me want to stay
