I was more perceptive now, I could see how things would play out

I knew that your vision quest, three days making eye contact with yourself in the mirror would lead to you losing your mind at a point or two

and that in your desperation (starvation) you would reach out to grab me

drag me now the dark spiral

and leave me down there, in the morning when you feel anew
