And A Lack Of Oxygen

You want the honest truth, you think that you can draw it out of me, trick me into spilling. Fine, you want it, unabashed, unfiltered. A plant was struggling, it wasn't going to die or anything, but it was having a difficult time with transitions, adjusting to the harshness of its situation. A plant needs energy, to sustain, but also to grow. It needs roots, and nourishment, then will grow its branches accordingly. If there is a branch, or so much as a leaf, that simply could not keep up, that was perhaps on the verge if death, sucking all of that plant's energy, the sustenance it needs for itself, well it will try to repair and replenish this weak appendage, ignoring its very own needs. A grower of any sort, amateur or professional, knows this; you must cut that theft, that life-sucking branch off, so that the plant as a whole can try, could flourish.
